Last Saturday evening, after two days of rehersals with the famous director Dick Hauser, Lolly Jane Blue premiered at M-Lab in Amsterdam.
It was a stunning performance and a beautiful night, with many guests from abroad, who travelled to Amsterdam especially for the show.

Today, Lolly Jane Blue's new video Kill a bird premiered online.
Kill A Bird is the intimate, new song from Lolly Jane Blue's upcoming debut album. The video was shot in May in Scotland with no budget and lots of passion. Another video from Scotland will be released in January.

WORLD PREMIERE HEINEKEN

Last Monday night, the five founders of Lolly Jane Blue walked the red carpet at the world premiere of the Dutch film de Heineken Ontvoering, starring legendary actor Rutger Hauer.
Before the movie started, Rutger Hauer brought Sil van der Woerd on stage, to show their co-directed film Requiem 2019 to the 1,600 guests.
Requiem 2019 tells the story of the last surviving whale that meets its greatest enemy, mankind.
The film uses no dialogue, instead it features a prominent soundtrack sang by Lolly Jane Blue.
Until Requiem 2019 hits the web early 2012, the film can only be experienced during Lolly's tour The Odyssey of Lolly Jane Blue.

The Odyssey Of Lolly Jane Blue – the 2011 / 2012 tour for Lolly Jane Blue – experienced its Try Out in Gorinchem, the Netherlands. Intimate theater 't Pand prooved to be the perfect location to kick off this wonderful tour. Supported by three costume changes, Lolly performed a dozen songs against the mesmerizing setting of dreamy visuals projected on semi-transparant foils. You don't want to miss this!

Recently, we filmed 3 new music video's, in Scotland. On the last evening of the intense 7-day shoot, we finished a little earlier than expected. But we just didn't want to stop.
In a joyful hurry we decided to film this little bonus video (just a 2-taker) for the song Evening Disease; a song that has been on the web for a long time, but never got a video.
As soon as Lolly's curls were ready, we ran outside to film in the last glimpses of daylight. We hope you enjoy this little moment as much as we did!

An incredible night for White Swan at Rutger Hauer's I've Seen Film Festival in Milan
White Swan won two awards!
One for Best Music Video and one for Best Music Performer.
The awards were handed out by none other than Rutger Hauer (initiator of the festival, Actor) and Anton Corbijn (Music Video legend, Director of Control & The American)!

About a year after the release of the making of Worms, now the making of White Swan is released. Also by the Gnomon Workshop, industry leader in professional training for artists in the entertainment and design industries.
For this DVDset video director Sil invited over 10 people of his post production crew.
Together, they give over 17 hours of tutorials on modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, particles, compositing, etc, etc.

With a library of 200+ training DVDs featuring 60 professional instructors, Gnomon Workshop is the industry leader in professional training for artists in the entertainment and design industries.
Alex Alvarez, founder of Gnomon, asked video director Sil, to record a making of and shot breakdown of Worms at Gnomon workshop, in Hollywood.
This resulted in 10 hours of footage covering the entire production and post production of Worms. The very special 4-disc set is finally released! It's presented in a gorgeous packaging.
